New chief aims to make Zensar a 100% digital company

Software services company Zensar Technologies is poised for the second phase of growth with focus on making it a 100% digital firm, Sandeep Kishore, who took charge as the company’s new CEO and managing director on February 15, told TOI on Tuesday. Kishore replaces Ganesh Nataranjan, the founder of the company, whose term will end on April 30.

Sandeep Kishore is set to take charge from Ganesh Natarajan as managing director and chief executive of Zensar Technologies, information technology arm from the RPG Group. Natarajan had taken it from a Rs 40-crore entity to a Rs 2,000-plus crore enterprise. Kishore, an old hand at HCL Technologies, tells Shivani Shinde Nadhe why he choose to join Zensar, his growth strategy and how he intends to leverage the presence of Apax Partners.

Zensar looking to hire a chief digital officer and chief technology officer

Zensar is looking to strengthen its top deck by hiring a chief digital officer and a chief technology officer, the mid-sized IT firm’s new CEO Sandeep Kishore told ET. Kishore, who joined Zensar two months ago from HCL Tech, officially took over as CEO in the middle of February. Since then he has begun the task of reshaping Zensar to achieve faster growth.

Zensar Technologies Ltd, an RPG Enterprises’ group company, named Sandeep Kishore as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. Kishore will join Zensar on January 12 and take over leadership of the company from Ganesh Natarajan, whose term comes to an end on 30 April 2016. He will be based in San Jose, California, Zensar said in a statement on Monday. An alumnus of IIT Bombay, Kishore has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, spanning across IT services, engineering and business process outsourcing.
